Tangerang, June 28, 2024 – BINUS-ASO School of Engineering (BASE) held a special event to commemorate its 10th anniversary in the world of engineering higher education. Themed “A Decade of Shaping Future Engineering Leaders”, the event took place at the BASE campus, Jl. Alam Sutera Boulevard Tangerang and was enlivened with a variety of interesting activities, including an exhibition of student final project work, Industry Gathering, and Alumni Gathering.
The event was also attended by a number of well-known industry representatives, such as Qimtronics, Kawan Lama Group, Bank Central Asia, Vivere Multi Kreasi, Astra Honda Motor, Blibli, Wings Group and many more. Their presence is clear evidence of BASE’s close relationship with industry, with many of its graduates being absorbed and contributing to various strategic sectors.
BASE’s 10th anniversary celebration was also a special moment to give appreciation to various parties who have contributed to BASE’s journey. One of the highlights was the “The Most Sustained Hiring of Internship Students” award given to Qimtronics, as a form of appreciation for Qimtronics’ commitment in opening internship opportunities for BASE students on an ongoing basis, and making a real contribution to the development of young talents in the field of engineering.
Qimtronics hopes that BASE will continue to be committed to producing graduates who are competent, innovative and ready to contribute in the Industry 4.0 era and beyond.
